A packaging line needs 9 - 10 volunteers to effectively package the meals. We can accommodate 2 packing lines at a time, so up to 20 volunteers may work simultaneously.

A typical packaging session is 2 hours. Volunteers must be willing to follow all of the guidelines carefully so that the meals are correctly formulated, and meticulously clean. Volunteers will wear hair nets, gloves and aprons. Volunteers must wash their hands on entering the Mercy Meals house. Volunteers will be standing throughout the event with short breaks.

Mercy Meals host members will be available to help and answer any questions.

Volunteers under the age of 18 must be chaperoned by one or more adults as part of an organization, or accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.

Groups or organizations may sign up and request specific dates and/or times. Please note, groups with children under the age of 18 must be chaperoned by adults.
